"Just can't hide that Glenview pride!"

Our Mission
The mission of the Glenview PTA is to support students and teachers through the
enrichment of academics; promote a safe and clean learning environment; and welcome,
respect, and engage all families in the school community.
What does the Glenview PTA do?
Some of you may be wondering: "What is the PTA, and why should I become a member?"
The PTA raises funds in order to provide valuable services to Glenview's students, parents,
and teachers. We hope this website answers some questions for you, and that each of you
continues to be involved in our school community and PTA.
How can I get involved?
Strong parental involvement is one of the things that make Glenview Elementary such a
special place. As a member of the PTA, you can have a positive impact on your child's
education. There are so many ways to become involved that even the busiest of parents can
participate. Click the Get Involved link to find out how.
Here are some examples of what Glenview PTA funds have supported:
 | | Staff, materials, and cataloging for the school library.
|
 | | Annual Science Fairs, Spelling Bees, and Read-a-Thons.
|
 | | After-school enrichment classes, including scholarships for Art, Math and Science |
| | classes.

Help Make a Difference
Help fund the garden, field trips, arts and science programs, the library, after-school program
scholarships, and more. This year, the PTA is also hoping to fund academic consultants for
kindergarten and 1st grade, noon supervision for all grades and our well-regarded arts
program in dance, music and theater. Our basic PTA budget operates at about $250 per
student, but we welcome contributions at every level, so give what you can. Together, we can
take Glenview, and our children, to the next level of achievement. Please donate today!
